NYC Dogs, Get Out Of The Heat NOW.

Saw too many NYC dogs this morning in varying degrees of distress from the heat. Way too many dogs being dragged around by pack walkers. Little dogs simply should not be walking in packs with large dogs, period, but especially not in bad weather. One dog was clearly on the verge of collapse, a larger, older dog, trying to stop, no longer panting, rear legs wobbling. And tell me why you're all out taking long hard walks with dogs on what has to be the worst heat/humdity super-heated air day in NYC thus far? Is it because you get paid by the walk? How about having more concern for the dogs you walk instead of your wallets. Professional dog walkers have more sense and they tell the dogs owners when a walk has to be shortened, regardless of a reduction in their fee. NOTE: NOT EVERYONE IS A PROFESSIONAL DOG WALKER. Some, many, think its just a neat way to earn money while collecting unemployment. Many have never even owned a dog and haven't got a clue about what it means to actually walk a dog in NYC.
